What to Recycle
PLASTIC
- All plastic containers with recycling symbol
- labeled 1 to 7
- Plastic bottles, cups, jars, food trays, tubs, bowls
ALUMINUM
- Aluminum drink cans
- Steel or tin food cans and lids
PAPER
- Catalogues and magazines
- Junk mail
- Newspaper
- Paper bags
- Paperback books
GLASS
- Bottles (all colors)
- Jars (all colors)
CARDBOARD
- Flattened
Prepare your recyclables
- Collect your recyclables in a separate trash bag from your trash.
- Make sure all recyclable
- Containers are emptied and rinsed out. Clean recyclables allow for better quality products to be produced from recycled material.
- Plastic caps may remain on plastic bottles.
- Flatten all cardboard.
